Ornament Dough Recipe (Found this in my recipe box, dated 1989)
4 cups flour
1 cup salt
1 1/2 cups water
Mix flour and salt thoroughly; add water, mix with fingers to a dough, then knead until salt is melted and dough is elastic; cover all but portion being used as you make ornaments; to use a wire hanger, wet before inserting; place ornaments on foil and foil on a cookie sheet; bake at 250 degrees for 3-4 hours; cool; paint with acrylics; dip into liquid polyurethane and hang to dry.
